Justin Bieber says wife Hailey Bieber educated him on women's struggles, vows to "being better"
On Monday, in honor of International Women's Day, Bieber took to Instagram and divulged how much his wife, Hailey Bieber, has taught him about the struggles women face.

Apparently, Justin Bieber has learned a lot regarding women's struggles. Ok, I'll bite. On Monday, in honor of International Women's Day, Bieber took to Instagram and divulged how much his wife, Hailey Bieber, has taught him about the struggles women face.
Bieber's post comes a few days after Hailey praised her husband on his 27th birthday, expressing how Bieber is her "favorite human."
"Another year around the sun with you, another year of getting to love you, grow with you and laugh with you," Hailey wrote. "Happy 27th birthday." That's... sweet, I guess. In addition, Bieber continued to express his commitment to women's plights, and mentioned how he would never fully understand their struggles.
"I am committed to being better and more aware of the struggles women face that men never will!!" he continued.
"Women you are superhero's [sic] and deserve to be celebrated today and everyday."
I mean, he's not wrong.
Women have continuously struggled throughout history. It's not exactly breaking news. I guess it comes with the territory of not being born a man. While Bieber's appreciation for his wife is adorable at best, it falls a little flat. It's easy to admire someone you're legally bound to, who also happens to be a 5'7 model.
If Bieber is truly committed to being an ally for women, he needs to do a better job advocating for them, rather than posting an illustration on Instagram. Considering the majority of his fan base is female, Bieber should focus on elevating those voices, not just for duration of Women's History Month, but every day after that.
